Other major suppliers Cardale are now owned by Novoferm another global giant who are part of the Sanwa group all have one thing in common, they manufacture sectional doors overseas and export them to the UK.
Birkdale, on the back of manufacturing and supplying one of the best quality roller doors, decided to reinvest their profits into machinery to produce sectional doors solely in the UK, quicker deliveries, huge choice of bespoke sizes and styles and without extra transport and import costs we hope to gain market share by offering doors made with thicker sections ( 40mm, 50mm or 75mm perfect for cold stores) and increased thermal values while still maintaining competitiveness.
With the added option of plastisol coating we offer greater corrosion protection, ideal for industrial applications and coastal areas.
Using the same principals that we use in roller door manufacturing, better materials, harder wearing parts with unique selling points made in house with employees that are involved in contributing many aspects of the quality control of our products, with this common sense approach we hope to replicate our roller door success with sectional doors.
Even in these trying times we are seeing early increases in sales and enquiries.
