This unusual solution has been suggested by interior design agency, to offices in London. The customer wanted walls in the office which could be easily moved out of the way to create a spacious office for bigger projects or small company events. The customer also wanted full glazing not only for light but to create a stylish look with audible privacy. The brilliant solution was to use our Sectional Garage Doors with Fully Glazed Panels. This way they kept the sleek look of the office with the walls easily and quickly retractable due to high quality motor. With a press of a button you can turn a busy open space into a quite conference room and vice versa. This was one of the most creative uses of our products. Definitely something to “save for later” as an inspirational idea.
Summary
Unconventional use of Sectional Garage Doors which have been installed inside the office as room dividers. The goal was to create a retractable wall which would be easy to operate. We didn’t want to create a feeling of isolation or be unsightly. The product was designed to be in keeping with the interior design of the office.
The additional advantage of a fully glazed motorised sectional door is the increased security as each motor locks the door down with a fingerprint scanner and remote controls to operate.
